My Favorite Skincare Products For Combination, Acne Prone, Scar Prone Skin

So, I am lucky enough to say that I have really cleared up my skin enough to be CONFIDENT without makeup in public. Trust me, before, I never left my house without makeup and it was really exhausting. But, with some laser genesis treatment and a minimal skincare routine I have lightened up my acne scars AND prevented new acne from showing up! I rarely get new pimples and if I do it’s maybe once a month! YES PLEASE. Here we go!

African Black Soap

I’ve been using this for YEARS now and it’s my favorite cleanser by far. It’s gentle but exfoliates at the same time! It’s ingredients are perfect for acne prone and skin that’s prone to redness! Which is exactly my skin type!

Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C helps enhance/brighten skin while also reducing dark spots and uneven skin tone which again, is something I struggle with. Finding products that combat things you struggle with is KEY. Do some research, talk to a dermatologist, or watch some videos! You’d be amazed what products are out there for you!

This is SUPER moisturizing and hydrating while also helping to prevent aging! A really great combo. I use this about once or twice a week since my skin is already pretty oily but sometimes I need a bit of an extra step of hydration.

Clinique Moisturizing Gel

I have never found a moisturizer before that wasn’t super oily, thick, or intense. My skin is oily most of the time and I always struggled with the finding the right one. This one is great because it’s a gel consistency and more water based which I found to be the perfect amount of hydration for my skin on a daily basis. It’s a bit expensive per bottle BUT I realized you didn’t need to apply a ton at one time. (no picture because I just used mine up!)

Amazonian Clay Mask

This stuff is a heaven send!! I kid you not when I say this stuff is INTENSE. It has really given my skin a run for it’s money. It’s great to bring up new, under the skin acne to get rid of it and my skin always feels so clean afterwards. It’s pretty cheap on Amazon and pretty easy to use! You might want to buy an applicator to make it easier on you though and give it more of a spa experience.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post! Sometimes, I feel like I repeat myself but I have to remember some people might be new or someone may not have read the one from a year ago! Let me know some of your favorite skincare products!
