Healthy Grocery Haul: The Essentials for a Beginner

I just recently started a health journey and I wanted to go out shopping to get all of the healthy essentials I would need to help me stay on track. Let me be clear, I spent a good amount of money for this haul but that comes with eating healthier and starting from scratch. So, all of the things on my list ended up totaling to $105. Yeah, it’s a lot. But, sometimes you have to invest in yourself and that’s okay! Without further or due, here is my grocery list!

  1. Romaine Hearts
  2. Instant Brown Rice
  3. Eggs
  4. Kidney Beans
  5. Black Beans
  6. Cottage Cheese
  7. Tuna (flavored and not)
  8. Celery
  9. Oikos Yogurt
  10. Coconut Milk
  11. Silk Caramel Almond Creamer
  12. Vanilla Muscle Milk
  13. Skinny Pop Popcorn Cakes (Sea Salt)
  14. Veggie Straws
  15. Bananas
  16. Raspberries
  17. Blueberries
  18. Wheat Bread
  19. Probiotic
  20. Probiotic Protein Smoothie
  21. Apples
  22. Crystal Light
  23. Tea
  24. Cliff Bars
  25. Low Sodium French Salad Dressing
  26. Unsalted Butter

So, I know that not all of these might be extremely healthy because let’s be honest, I don’t know anything. But when I was walking around and picking out things I made sure to look at the ingredients and nutritional facts and really pinpoint which one would be best for me. I think that’s a huge thing is making sure you’re picking the one that has the best ingredients. A few of the things too I haven’t tried yet so it’s for sure a trial basis.
